                             Retarded Grandparents!!
Well this is very close to our 64 th anniversary,so to let everyone know we still have a great sense of humor,& it can take you a long ways---------------------------------------------------------------------------.A teacher ask the kids about their vacations,& one little boy said---We use to go to spend holidays with our grandparents, they use to live in a big brick house, they got retarded & moved to Arizona. Now they live in a tin box & have rocks painted green to look like grass.they run around on their bicycles& wear name tags, because they dont know who they are anymore.
They go to a building called a wrecked center, but they must have it fixed because it is all fixed up now,& do exercises there, but they dont do them very well. There is a swimming pool too,but in it,they jump up & down with hats on.
At their gate, there is a doll house with a little man sitting in it .He watches all day so nobody can eacape,
Some times they sneak out. They go cruising in their golf carts.
Nobody there cooks, they just eat out & they the same thing every night--------early birds. Some of the people cant get past the man in the doll house. The ones who do get out ,brings food back to the wrecked center & call it pot luck.
My grandma says that grandpa worked all his life to earn his retardment & says I should work hard so I can be retarded some day too. When I earn my retardment ,I want to be the man in the doll house. Then I will let  people out so they can go visit their grandchildren. Jacque

             Mother is always with you!!!!

Your Mother is always with you... She's the whisper of the leaves as you
walk down the street; she's the smell of bleach in your freshly laundered
socks; She's the cool hand on your brow when you're not well.
Your Mother lives inside your laughter. And she's crystallized in every
tear drop. She's the place you came from, your first home; and she's
the map you follow with every step you take. She's your first love
and first heartbreak, and nothing on earth can separate you.
Not time, not space.........not even death!

            "The Watcher"
She always leaned to watch for us anxious if we were late.In winter by the window,in summer by the gate.

And though we mocked her tenderly, who had such foolish care, the long way home would seem more safe because she waited there.

Her thoughts were were so full of us, she never could forget! And so I think that were she is,she must be watching yet,

waiting til we come home to her, anxious if we are late--watching from heaven's window, leaning from Heaven's gate .

   A tribute To Mom.

This is the small church we went to as small children.
It is over 100 yrs. old & been through several floods.
The community is small ,but are dedicated to keeping
& caring for this little church. What a place to grow up in .
I cherish the time I spent there.
